I had a lovely corner room with a nice view and big windows. The location is slick with loads of restaurants just steps away.

Ask for a room on the upper floors to reduce noise from the lively street below at night.

I really enjoyed my stay! The location is fantastic, with a variety of restaurants and cafes just steps away. The staff was incredibly friendly, and they even provided free tickets to local attractions. The breakfast spread included delicious options like fresh pastries and made-to-order eggs. However, the noise from the street early in the morning was a slight distraction.

Diving into Zurich's dining scene was a delight! Just a hop away, I found cozy spots like Walliser Keller for hearty Swiss grub and a delightful taste of the local hot pots. A great breakfast awaits, though a sneaky coffee machine in the lobby was a caffeine lover's dream.

However, the breakfast could use a makeover—burnt sausage and croissants that were a hard pass left me craving my grocery store finds back home.

The Hotel Alexander Zurich Old Town features a charming, modern decor with easy accessibility for seniors, making it a comfortable base for exploring. The complimentary coffee station with fresh fruits at the entrance was a delightful touch during my stay.

During our stay, we visited the zoo and it was fantastic! My teenagers were thrilled to see exotic animals up close. The hotel's breakfast had an amazing variety, and the location made it easy to explore Zurich's charming streets. Perfect spot for a family!
